The Andela Bootcamp cycle 36 has been a great learning experience for me. It is tough and rigorous. No wonder the company is rated as one of the best company to work in Nigeria.

The Bootcamp is a two-week simulation sprint. There is so much to unlearn and so much to learn. I observed that the Bootcamp is not a teaching programme. Although the Learning facilitator Assistants are always available to provide guidance and insight to the complex problem if need be. All Bootcampers are expected to level up in the area where they need improvement before the beginning of the Bootcamp, says Philip Newman.

The Bootcamp is no playing ground. I could sit for hours to solve a problem without the thought to take a few minutes of rest. Andela LFAs does not encourage laziness, on the contrary, they encourage hard work and quality delivery. Most Bootcampers cry out in pain as Bootcamp get tougher by the day.

Fast Pace Learning

The Bootcamp has deposited an attitude in me. An attitude which I am unfamiliar with. I know software development process takes months and years to successfully deliver a good and high-quality software product. Surprisingly, my Bootcamp experience has changed my perspective on such ideas. Now I believe that so much can be achieved if I stay committed to meeting up with the deadlines.

Every day I am faced with a good problem to solve meet up with submission deadline.

Collaboration

Though the Bootcamp is challenging, It is also fun to work be at the Bootcamp. It is a place where you meet people with like minds. Everybody is accessible and no one builds Barrier to scare people way. Philips Newman one of the Bootcamp Facilitator emphasize on the need to collaborate with our peers.

In all the Bootcamp is challenging and educative and I am delighted to be part of this great learning experience.

Thank you.
